《What are the most influential people in crypto thinking right now? 1/3》

If you’re curious why I’ve been able to catch so many opportunities related to Binance, maybe it’s because I pay closer attention than most people to how @cz_binance thinks.

Three days ago, he had a conversation with @namdar, CEO of BNC (the largest BNB treasury company on Nasdaq). The interview was actually full of insights, but so far only about 2,500 people have watched it — and I’d guess maybe half of them had the patience to watch the whole thing.

This morning, when my mind was clearest, I spent 45 minutes watching it all. I know you don’t have the patience, so let me summarize the points I found most interesting and valuable:

✅ In the conversation, CZ spent a large portion of the time discussing stablecoins. He talked about how his perception has evolved — he sees stablecoins as critical infrastructure, alongside lending protocols and exchanges, forming the backbone of the BNB ecosystem.

✅ CZ expressed respect for Tether, noting how they created enormous value with very few employees. At the same time, you can sense his lingering frustration that one of Binance’s “three pillars” — $BUSD — was shut down by the Biden administration.

✅ CZ specifically mentioned $USD1, and his comments were very positive. He believes it emerged to fill a gap in the stablecoin market, designed to meet niche needs that USDT and USDC don’t cover.

He emphasized that USD1 has already seen significant growth and is being quickly adopted. You can tell that CZ leans toward supporting USD1, and he sees it as a potential cornerstone not only for the BNB ecosystem but also for the broader crypto market (important highlight!).

(I think this is one of the most valuable parts of the interview. It’s the first time I’ve seen CZ actively explain his view on USD1, instead of leaving the market to guess.

Previously, many were puzzled why Binance listed USD1 and then went quiet. Now it’s clear: USD1 is very likely to fill the liquidity gap left by BUSD on BNB Chain, and its takeoff is only a matter of time. @0xDylan_ must be happy 😆. Bullish USD1.)

✅ CZ believes security tokenization is a huge market with real demand, but for now regulators need to issue very clear guidelines on what can and cannot be done.

✅ On AI, CZ said it could increase human interactions by 3–6 orders of magnitude, with countless AI agents working behind the scenes for each individual — ultimately leading to a massive increase in blockchain transactions.

He even shared an interesting thought: AI could one day take his interviews, cut them into clips, add filters, post them online, and even monetize them — with people needing to pay to watch the remaining 2/3 (and he joked someone will probably actually do it 😅).

He concluded by saying there are three foundational technologies that have been most important in his life: the Internet, blockchain, and artificial intelligence — and the last two are only just beginning.
