First, download @careem
This is one of the most useful apps in Dubai and covers:
-Ride-hailing 🚕
-Food delivery
-Various daily services

Hotel Recommendations:
Dubai has two main commercial hubs—Downtown and Marina. Staying in a hotel within these areas will be more convenient.
If you’ve got some time and want a unique experience I highly recommend staying at a desert resort. Seeing wildlife in the desert is an unforgettable experience.
